SSC GD New Vacancy 2026:– As per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Staff Selection Commission will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). The recruitment process will consist of a computer-based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.

SSC GD Constable 2026 Scheme of Examination
The Computer-Based Examination will consist of one Objective Type Paper containing 80 questions, Duration Allowed 60 Minutes, carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:

Educational Qualification (As on 01-01-2026)
- The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University as of or before the cut-off date, i.e., January 1, 2026.
- Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date (i.e., 01-01-2026) will not be eligible and need not to apply.
Application Fees
- Fee payable: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation are exempt from the payment of the fee.
- Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Master, Maestro Card, or RuPay Debit card.
- Fee can be paid by the candidates up to 01.01.2026 (23:00 Hours) through online mode only. There will be no option to pay fees through any other mode.
