Minimum Qualifying Marks & Normalised Score
JNTU Kakinada uses a mathematical formula for EAPCET results to ensure that all students obtain a Normalized score. This becomes necessary because the exam is conducted across multiple shifts, with each shift having its own distinct question paper. Consequently, the paper for one shift might be easier or more difficult compared to another. This formula adjusts marks based on the relative difficulty levels of different question papers, ensuring that a student taking the exam in a difficult session is not unfairly disadvantaged compared to a student taking it in an easier session.
- Qualifying Marks for GEN/OBC/EWS – 25 percent of the total marks
- For SC/ST – There is no minimum qualifying marks limit to participate in the admission process for SC/ST or any other reserved category.
